When you plan to compare different high pressure systems, you must compare the average efficiency of the specific systems (for example: Some leave the booster pump efficiency out, to get better results). So beware: Don´t compare apples with oranges.
Fact is: Only the SALINO is the most efficient high pressure pump & ERD Unit worldwide. Our ERD Unit needs no extra electric power, no booster pump. The result is: Less tubes, less energy, less space.
How to use the SALINO Design-tools
Step 1: You are planning for a special amount of permeate Water:
Permeate water flow rate: 1,0 – 5,3 m³ / day : Use Design-tool SALINO 5
Permeate water flow rate: 13,7 – 69,4 m³ / day : Use Design-tool SALINO 60
Permeate water flow rate: 40 – 198,2 m³ / day : Use Design-tool SALINO 120
Permeate water flow rate: 50 – 300 m³ / day : Use Design-tool SALINO 250
Permeate water flow rate: 140 – 760 m³ and more / day : Use Design-tool SALINO 500
More than 760m³ per day: Calculate th best combination of SALINOs.
For example: 1.000 m³ / day = 1 SALINO 500 and 1 SALINO 250; 1.500 m³/ day = 2 SALINO 500; 20.000 m³/day = 27 SALINO 500
Step 2: How to use the SALINO Design-tool (Excel-Sheet):
Necessary values from you:
Recovery Rate of the process
Permeate water flow
Membrane feed pressure
If the values are available, download the needed “SALINO Design-tool.xlsx” and follow the next steps:
1. Select your Recovery rate with the Scroll-Button
2. Type in the specified permeate water flow in m³ / day.
3. Type in the high pressure feed in bar
